Our Initiatives

Creating Impact Where It’s Needed Most

At Global Education Connection, we believe that every child—no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through—deserves access to safety, learning, and healing. From the war-torn streets of Ukraine and the refugee camps of Iraq and Turkey, to the shelters along the U.S.–Mexico border and neighborhoods here at home, our initiatives are designed to restore hope through education, creativity, and emotional support. In partnership with local organizations, we provide tools, spaces, and experiences that help children reclaim their childhoods, express themselves, and build brighter futures—even in the most uncertain circumstances.

Where We Work

Domestically

Not only do we work internationally, but we also serve communities here at home in the United States. With a team spread across the country, we’re able to support refugee children and families from the East Coast to the West Coast. Whether it’s helping with school supplies, organizing local art activities, or simply showing up for families navigating a new life, our mission remains the same: to uplift, connect, and create spaces where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

One of our key partnerships in the U.S. has been with Voice of Refugees in Southern California, where we’ve led summer art workshops for Afghan, Syrian, Palestinian, and other refugee children. With the help of creatives from the entertainment industry, our team introduces kids to animation, crafts, painting, and even music therapy. These workshops not only spark creativity—they also offer a safe, joyful space for expression, healing, and community building right here at home.

Voice of Refugee

We’ve also partnered with the Refugee Children Center in the San Fernando Valley, supporting children and families from Guatemala, Colombia, El Salvador, and other parts of Latin America. There, we hosted art and craft activities and distributed art supplies and coloring books to help foster creativity and provide moments of relief. For many of these children, art becomes a gentle way to process their experiences and connect with others in a new and unfamiliar place.
