In 2024, we more than quadrupled our impact from 2023!
3,421 children
across 5 countries, investing $12,000+ in educational programming for refugees across the world.
In early February, we began the year by helping construct a library for children through our partner, Kids Rainbow (now BeChild), in Gaziantep, Turkey. By providing books and educational resources, this project provided children with a welcoming space to learn, explore, and rebuild a sense of normalcy through reading.

On April 19th, we celebrated Interntional Women’s Day by partnering with our friends at Voices of Refugees in Anaheim, CA, to host a community event focused on empowering young girls through education and creativity.
177 kids helped.
On May 14th, we sent one of our largest shipments ever to an anonymous orphanage in Reynosa, Mexico. This shipment contained STEM activties, like robotics kits, to promote problem-solving and technological curiosity.

On May 18th and July 20th, we held arts-and-crafts workshops with Voices of Refugees, where GEC volunteers from the entertainment industry engaged one-on-one in creative activities and artistic projects with young refugees localted in Anaheim, CA.

On August 8th, we provided students at Refugee Children’s Center in North Hills, CA, with school supplies so they can enter the fall excited and prepared to learn.

On September 20th, we provided coloring books to XXX in Tennessee.

In early October, Carter and Albert visited Erbil, Iraq, to complete our largest project of the year. Using donated funds, we helped reconstruct the school serving the children of Darashakran Refugee Camp.

On October 19th, we facilitated an art program for Kids Rainbow (now BeChild) in Gaziantep, Turkey.

To finish off this incredible year, we held a Christmas-themed event with Voices of Refugees in Anaheim, CA, to host refugee families, foster joy, and provide a safe space to celebrate the holidays and unwind with fun crafts.
