Meet Ellie
Ellie recently graduated with a BA in Biochemisty & Chemical Biology from Vanderbilt University in Spring 2026. She has been a proud member of GEC since 2024. For us, she handles everything from crafting engaging content and graphic design to pioneering fundraising strategies and enhancing outreach.
A proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by our public school systems-from teacher walkouts and underfunding to broader societal issues-which has instilled in her a deep passion for educational equity. Ellie’s upbringing amidst talented individuals who often lacked educational opportunities has fueled her dedication to GEC’s mission: supporting students in conflict-affected regions.
Grateful for the chance to contribute, Ellie fervently believes in the power of artistic expression and the vital role of quality education in young lives, particularly those affect by circumstances beyond their control.
